BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO DWELL IN YOUR HOUSE

Psalm 84 Verses 1-5

How lovely are Your dwelling places, O LORD of hosts!  My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD;  My heart and my  flesh sing for joy to the living God. 

The bird also has found a house and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even Your altars, O LORD of hosts —  My King and my GOD.    How blessed are those who dwell in Your house!  They are ever praising You!

How blessed is the man whose strength is in You.   In whose heart are the highways to Zion!     (NASB)

What are we yearning for in this life?    A new house; new car; more money; a vacation; peace; rest;  you fill in the blank.  Are we hungering for the living GOD?  Are our hearts really yearning for HIM?

Dear Lord, Please help us, Your children, to come back to our first love – the love we had when we first met You.  Please forgive us because we have allowed the things of this life to distract and burden us.  Help us to put You first in our lives.
